Recruiting Automation and Integration Tools (2026)
Tools that connect systems and automate recruiting workflows: workflow automation platforms, integration layers and the products that sit between the systems you already run.
Between the other categories rather than inside one. This is what you buy once you have several systems and the work has become moving information between them by hand.
Choosing a automation & integration tool is mostly a question of which trade-off you can live with. The list below is ordered by how squarely each tool sits in this category, then by how much of its pricing and positioning we can back with a primary source.
General visual automation platform used in recruitment as glue between systems. Free gives 1,000 credits a month, 2 active scenarios and a 15-minute minimum interval; Core at USD 9 a month for 10,000 credits makes scenarios unlimited and drops the interval to one minute. Pro USD 16 adds priority execution and log search, Teams USD 29 adds roles and shared templates, Enterprise is quoted. Around 3,000 connectors. It ships connectors and control flow, not recruitment logic.
A polling trigger spends a credit on every empty check, and an action module spends one per bundle, so scenario design decides the bill more than the price list does
Open-source workflow automation with a commercial cloud, used in recruitment as a self-hostable alternative to Make and Zapier. The community edition is free and self-hosted. Cloud plans start at EUR 20 a month billed annually for 2,500 workflow executions, EUR 50 for 10,000 and EUR 667 for 40,000 with a self-hosted licence key. Every plan includes unlimited users, unlimited workflows and every integration, and executions are counted regardless of how many steps each one runs.
The more technical of the mainstream automation tools; comfort with JSON and APIs is assumed
General-purpose kanban board used as a lightweight hiring pipeline: a list per stage, a card per candidate. Free for up to 10 boards and 10 collaborators per Workspace; unlimited boards from $5/user/month, cross-board views from $10.
No CV parsing, job posting, candidate search or interview scheduling on any plan
Database platform used as a self-built hiring system: candidates as records with typed fields, board and grid views, and forms that write applications straight in. Free plan holds 1,000 records and 1GB of attachments per base; Team $20 and Business $45 per seat per month, editors only.
Record limits are per base: 1,000 on Free, 50,000 on Team, 125,000 on Business
Work management platform used for hiring: a board per vacancy, a row per candidate, with automations, guest access and dashboards included rather than built. Free for 2 seats and 3 boards; Basic EUR 9, Standard EUR 12, Pro EUR 19 per seat per month on annual billing.
The free plan stops at 2 seats, 3 boards and 3 docs
Document workspace with databases, used as a hiring system where the brief, the scorecard and the notes live on the candidate page. Free plan caps file uploads at 5MB, page history at 7 days and guests at 10; Plus EUR 9.50 and Business EUR 19.50 per seat per month.
The free plan allows only 10 external guests, and hiring is full of guests
General no-code automation platform used in recruitment to connect an ATS, a spreadsheet and a chat tool. Free gives 100 tasks a month and two-step Zaps only. Professional opens multi-step workflows, premium apps and webhooks, from USD 19.99 a month billed annually at the smallest task tier and running to thousands at the largest. Team adds sharing and SAML SSO at 25 seats; Enterprise is quoted. A task is a successful step: triggers, polling and the built-in Formatter, Paths and Filter tools do not count.
The plan name is not a price: Professional spans roughly USD 20 to 3,389 a month by task tier
