What I actually do
I run recruitrlab.be, a hiring partner for Belgian and Dutch companies, and I source and recruit hands-on every week. SourcrLab exists because most tool reviews online are written by people who have never closed a hire. This site is built and maintained by a working recruiter, not by a research team that has never made a placement.
How tools get selected
A small set of tools I use or have used in real hiring work carries a personal note on its page. That is first-hand experience. The rest of the catalogue is compiled from official product pages, public pricing, and aggregated external review data, and is clearly not the same thing. Where the difference matters, the page says which kind you are looking at.
Where my expertise is limited
My background is agency recruitment and sourcing in the Benelux. I know sourcing tools, contact-data providers, outreach, and agency ATS/CRM workflows well. I have far less first-hand experience with enterprise HRIS suites, US-specific compliance tooling, and high-volume hourly hiring platforms. Content in those areas leans on public sources, and I say so rather than pretend otherwise.
How this site is funded
SourcrLab does not use affiliate links and does not earn more when a buyer chooses one tool over another. Claiming a profile to correct factual information is free. Vendors can join the paid Founding Vendor programme for help structuring and maintaining richer factual product information. Payment never buys a ranking, a score, a recommendation, a different editorial assessment, or silence about negative evidence.
