Why these assessments
- Recruitment fitFair
- It was built as a combined ATS and lightweight HR system rather than a dedicated recruiting product, and with no current product page we cannot confirm what it covers today.
- Ease of useUnknown
- We have not used it, and any assessment would describe a version we cannot currently verify against the vendor.
- ImplementationUnknown
- Nothing current is published about setup or migration, and the 404 removes the vendor documentation route that would normally answer it.
- Price transparencyWeak
- There is no pricing page, because the product page itself returns a 404. Nothing current is published at any level.
- Value for moneyUnknown
- Cannot be assessed: there is no published price, and no current statement of what the product includes.
- ScalabilityUnknown
- The relevant question is continuity rather than capacity, and nothing published answers it in either direction.

The SourcrLab bottom line
Freshteam was Freshworks' entry into HR software: an applicant tracking system with lightweight HR, onboarding and time-off management attached, aimed at small businesses already using Freshdesk or Freshsales. In August 2026 the vendor's product page returned a 404 and we found no current product or pricing page for it on the Freshworks site. That is the observation, and it is not the same as a confirmed discontinuation. Third-party write-ups describe a formal sunset with new renewals stopping in March 2026 and access ending in 2027; we could not confirm those dates at the vendor and record them as reported rather than as fact. What is confirmed is enough to change how you proceed: get current terms directly from Freshworks before buying, renewing, or relying on anything published elsewhere.
Best fit
Existing customers who need to establish where they stand. The useful work here is getting current terms, an end-of-service position and an export path in writing from Freshworks, not comparing features.
Think twice if
Before treating any comparison that still lists it as current. Freshworks' own product page returns a 404, so nothing you read about its features or pricing can be checked against the vendor right now.
SourcrLab assessment
Everything on this page comes from the vendor's own pages, checked on the dates below. SourcrLab has not used this product in real recruitment work, so you will not find a first-hand opinion here.
Why choose Freshteam?
Mainly relevant if you are already on it
Existing deployments are the case where this brief is useful, and there the work is establishing your position with the vendor rather than evaluating the product.
The Freshworks ecosystem is still there
If Freshteam was chosen because the rest of your stack is Freshworks, that reason still holds for their other products, whatever turns out to be true of this one.
Main trade-offs
The vendor's product page returns 404
We checked it directly. It means you cannot establish current features, pricing or terms from the vendor's own site, which is reason enough to contact Freshworks before committing to anything.
The sunset dates in circulation are unconfirmed
Third-party articles give specific dates for renewals stopping and access ending. We could not verify either at the vendor, so treat them as unconfirmed and get your own dates in writing rather than relying on a blog post.
Comparison sites still list it as if it were current
And their feature and pricing details cannot be checked against the vendor at the moment. Anything you read about Freshteam describes a state we could not verify in August 2026.
Pricing and buying reality
No published pricing: the vendor's product page returns 404
- freshworks.com/freshteam/ returned HTTP 404 when we checked it, and we found no current product or pricing page for Freshteam elsewhere on the Freshworks site
- No current plans, prices, trial or free tier are published
- Third-party write-ups report that new renewals stopped in March 2026 and that customer access ends in 2027; we could not confirm either at the vendor and record both as reported rather than as fact
- The product was described as an applicant tracking system with lightweight HR, onboarding and time-off management
What we do not know
- Whether the product is still sold, and on what terms
- Any official end-of-service position for existing customers
- What migration support, if any, Freshworks offers
- How candidate and employee data can be exported
Checked August 2026. We do not list a price we have not verified ourselves. Freshworks Freshteam product page, returning HTTP 404 when checked
How it fits your stack
Works with
- Other Freshworks products, for customers who chose it for that reason
Likely replaces
- Nothing that can be established from published material today
May overlap with
- Breezy HR, Zoho Recruit and Jobsoid, which cover the same small-business ATS job with current published terms
Check before buying
- Whether it is still sold at all, and on what terms, in writing from Freshworks
- For existing customers, your end-of-service position in writing
- For existing customers, that a full export of candidate and employee data is available to you
Freshteam vs alternatives
Products a buyer would genuinely put next to this one, with the reason you would pick each instead.
Choose Breezy HR when you need a comparable small-business ATS with a free tier and terms you can read today.
Choose Zoho Recruit when the reason you picked Freshteam was suite membership: Zoho offers the same logic with a published, current ATS.
Choose Jobsoid when you want a low-cost option with a free tier you can start on without a purchase decision.
