Why these assessments
Recruitment fitWeak
A B2B contact and company database built for sales prospecting, with no candidate or vacancy concept in it.
Ease of useUnknown
We have not used it, and we found no independent account of the platform in daily use.
ImplementationUnknown
Neither package can be bought without a sales call, and nothing is published about onboarding.
Price transparencyWeak
No published price at all, and enrichment and API access are separately priced add-ons whose cost is also unstated.
Value for moneyUnknown
One credit for a whole contact including the mobile number is a better unit than most, but without a price the unit means little.
ScalabilityFair
Five seats is the entry point, so a team is assumed from the start, and credits work the same across the platform.

The SourcrLab bottom line

The credit model is the reason to look here: one credit for one revealed contact, mobile included, and the same credits across the platform, enrichment and API. Set against that, the entry point is a five-seat bundle with no published price, which is a different kind of buyer than a single recruiter with a browser extension.

Best fit

Outreach that runs on the phone, in European markets, for a team of about five people, which is the size both packages are built around.

Think twice if

Solo recruiters and small desks, since both packages include five seats, and anyone who needs a price before a sales call, since neither package has one.

SourcrLab assessment

Everything on this page comes from the vendor's own pages, checked on the dates below. SourcrLab has not used this product in real recruitment work, so you will not find a first-hand opinion here.

Why choose Cognism?

One credit, one contact

A revealed contact costs a single credit whether you take the email or the mobile, and viewing it again later costs nothing. Where a competitor charges per data point, phone-heavy work gets expensive quickly.

Mobile data is the paid-for difference

The Pro package is sold on higher-quality mobile data, a premium mobile filter and verification on demand. The vendor is charging for exactly the thing that is hardest to get right in Europe, which at least tells you where the effort went.

The same credits everywhere

Credits work across the prospecting platform, CRM enrichment and the API without a surcharge, so moving from manual lookups to automated enrichment does not mean renegotiating the unit you buy.

Main trade-offs

No published price, at all

Standard and Pro both end in Talk to sales. You cannot work out a cost per revealed contact, which is the one number that would let you compare this against any competitor.

Five seats is the entry point

Both packages state five seats included. A two-person recruitment desk is buying three seats it does not need, or is not the customer this pricing was designed for.

Enrichment and API are add-ons

CRM Enrichment and Data-as-a-Service sit outside both packages. The credits carry over, but the access does not: budget for the add-on if the plan is to enrich your ATS automatically.

Compliance claims are not something we verified

The vendor describes its data as verified and compliance-first and maintains a trust centre. Those are the vendor's words, and for personal data on European candidates you should read the trust centre and the contract yourself rather than take ours or theirs.

Pricing and buying reality

Quote only, no public pricing

  • Two prospecting packages: Standard and Pro, each stating 5 seats included
  • Credit model: 1 credit reveals 1 contact, with no charge for viewing a contact you already revealed
  • Each seat includes an allocation of credits; more credits can be bought at any point
  • CRM Enrichment and Data-as-a-Service are separately priced add-ons

What we do not know

  • The price of either package
  • How many credits a seat actually includes
  • The cost of extra credits and of the add-ons
  • Match rates for your own target market, which only a test will tell you

How it fits your stack

Works with

  • Your CRM or ATS, through the CRM Enrichment add-on
  • Your own systems, through the API or bulk delivery add-on

Likely replaces

  • Manual hunting for mobile numbers in European markets
  • A second contact data subscription bought for phone coverage

May overlap with

  • Lusha, ContactOut and other contact data providers
  • Enrichment credits bundled into recruitment systems

Check before buying

  • Cost per revealed contact, worked out from the quote and the credit allowance. That single number is the comparison
  • Mobile match rate on a sample of your real target profiles
  • What the trust centre says about data origin and opt-outs, in writing

Cognism vs alternatives

Products a buyer would genuinely put next to this one, with the reason you would pick each instead.
