Why these assessments
Recruitment fitStrong
The product is built specifically around applicant intake, interview screening, evaluation support and hiring-pipeline management.
Ease of useUnknown
The vendor documents self-serve setup, but SourcrLab has not used the recruiter dashboard in live hiring work.
ImplementationFair
Aperture can run with its own ATS or alongside an existing one, but interview policy, candidate notice and governance still need deliberate setup.
Price transparencyFair
Current access is clearly free, but the future paid model is not public, so long-term cost cannot yet be modelled.
Value for moneyUnknown
A pilot costs nothing today, but there is no durable price or independent outcome base yet.
ScalabilityUnknown
Current access includes unlimited roles and interviews, but future commercial limits are not published.

The SourcrLab bottom line

Aperture combines adaptive behavioral interviews, λ-CORE comparative evaluation, interview-integrity checks and an applicant pipeline in one product. Its most interesting design choice is that it tries to collect more interview signal before humans narrow the pool, instead of relying primarily on resume filtering. The product now ships with a built-in ATS and also names integrations such as Greenhouse, Ashby and Lever. The caveat is maturity: current use is free because pricing has not yet launched, Product Hunt shows no user-review base yet, and the public privacy policy contains buyer questions around retention and AI-model improvement. SourcrLab would treat it as a product worth piloting on one real high-volume role, with human review and governance controls in place, rather than as an automated hiring decision-maker.

Best fit

High-inbound hiring teams that want to standardize first-round interview collection before recruiters spend time on a shortlist, while keeping a human reviewer responsible for the hiring decision.

Think twice if

If applicant volume is low, if your candidate population cannot easily complete a camera-and-microphone interview, or if the current retention and AI-model-improvement language does not fit your data-governance requirements. Future paid pricing is also still unknown.

SourcrLab assessment

Everything on this page comes from the vendor's own pages, checked on the dates below. SourcrLab has not used this product in real recruitment work, so you will not find a first-hand opinion here.

Why choose Aperture?

More applicants can reach an interview layer

Aperture is designed to run a first-round interview automatically rather than requiring a recruiter to manually screen every application first.

Comparative evaluation with confidence ranges

λ-CORE evaluates six published dimensions and positions candidates relative to the role pool, while exposing confidence ranges rather than presenting every result as equally certain.

Human decision responsibility is explicit

Aperture's public AI-use policy says the system provides decision support and does not make hiring decisions; organizations remain responsible for reviewing outputs and deciding.

Built-in ATS plus named integrations

Early teams can manage a pipeline inside Aperture, while teams with an existing stack can evaluate integrations including Greenhouse, Ashby and Lever.

Main trade-offs

Independent buyer evidence is still early

Product Hunt confirms a public 2026 launch but currently shows no user reviews for Aperture. SourcrLab found no mature independent recruiter-review base yet.

Future pricing is unknown

Aperture explicitly says paid pricing has not yet been introduced. Current free use makes a pilot easy, but it is not evidence of a permanent free tier.

Data-governance terms deserve buyer review

The privacy policy says interview records may be retained for extended periods and that some interview data may be used for service and AI-model improvement. Buyers with strict retention or model-use policies should resolve this contractually before rollout.

Candidate setup is not frictionless for every population

The candidate guide requires camera and microphone access and documents browser and device constraints. Accessibility and candidate drop-off should be tested with the actual population being hired.
