Automated CV reformatting into agency-branded templates
Primary sources checkedCV-Transformer
CV-Transformer turns a candidate's CV into the agency's own branded template automatically, with optional anonymisation and PDF, Word or weblink output. Its FAQ is explicit that it does not rate or evaluate candidates, and two of the vendor's own locale pages currently quote different minimum commitments.
The short answer
- Best for
- A staffing or search firm where a consultant or resourcer spends real hours a week retyping CVs into a house template before client submission
- Not ideal for
- Anyone hoping for screening, scoring or shortlisting: the vendor states plainly that the product does not evaluate candidates
- Price
- Usage-based monthly minimum; first-party locale pages show EUR 170 (NL) and EUR 97.50 (EN-GB)
- Closest alternative
- SharebrandThe closer point solution when the goal is presenting candidate documents under your own brand rather than reformatting the CV itself.

Why these assessments
- Recruitment fitStrong
- The problem it solves exists almost nowhere outside recruitment: turning a candidate's own CV into a consistently branded, optionally anonymised submission document, with named ATS integrations to pull the source from.
- Ease of useUnknown
- SourcrLab has not used it. In document automation, ease is entirely a question of how often the output needs manual correction, and that is invisible until real CVs of varying quality go through it.
- ImplementationStrong
- One hour of free onboarding is included in the pricing packages, a free trial is described, and the named ATS integrations plus API and webhooks mean the source documents can come from where they already live.
- Price transparencyWeak
- Both locale pages publish a rate, and they publish different rates: a 100-candidate minimum at EUR 170 a month with EUR 1.70 per extra on the NL page, a 50-candidate minimum at EUR 97.50 with EUR 1.95 per extra on the EN-GB one. A published price you cannot rely on is not transparency.
- Value for moneyUnknown
- Not assessed, and it cannot be while the price depends on which locale page you read. The saving is real if the output is clean; the cost is not settled.
- ScalabilityFair
- Unlimited team members means adding consultants costs nothing, and the meter is candidates rather than seats. Volume is where cost grows, and the per-candidate rate above the minimum is exactly the number the two locale pages disagree about.

The SourcrLab bottom line
A point solution that knows exactly what it is. PDF, Word and image input; PDF, Word and weblink output; optional anonymisation; named integrations with Greenhouse, JobAdder, MySolution, Salesforce and Seven20, with API and webhooks for anything else. The most useful thing on the vendor's own site is a disclaimer: the FAQ states the AI assistant writes and formats and does not rate or evaluate candidates, which separates this cleanly from the screening tools it might otherwise be confused with. Compliance wording needs care in the other direction โ GDPR is stated by the vendor, and a comparison page additionally lists the AI Act, CCPA and CalOPPA, which are vendor assertions rather than audited findings.
Best fit
An agency with a house CV template and a rule that every candidate is presented in it. That rule is expensive: a resourcer retyping CVs is doing an hour of work per placement that produces no candidate and no client. The narrow problem definition is the strength here โ it is easy to work out whether the saving exists, because the task being replaced is countable.
Think twice if
Get the price confirmed in writing before signing. Two current vendor locale pages describe different offers โ 100 candidates minimum at EUR 170 a month with EUR 1.70 each beyond it, or 50 at EUR 97.50 with EUR 1.95 each โ and they are not variants of one deal. Which applies to you, and at which per-candidate rate, is a question the website cannot answer.
SourcrLab assessment
Everything on this page comes from the vendor's own pages, checked on the dates below. SourcrLab has not used this product in real recruitment work, so you will not find a first-hand opinion here.
Why choose CV-Transformer?
The task it removes is countable
Reformatting a CV into a house template is a discrete, repeated, measurable job. An agency can work out its own return in an afternoon by counting submissions and the time each one takes, which is more than can be said for most AI recruitment purchases.
It sits in the ATS rather than beside it
Named integrations with Greenhouse, JobAdder, MySolution, Salesforce and Seven20, plus API and webhooks, mean the source CV can come from the system of record and the branded output can go back to it. That is what makes it a workflow layer rather than a document editor with a logo.
It says out loud that it does not score candidates
The FAQ states the AI assistant is for writing and formatting and does not rate or evaluate candidates. In a market where nearly every product implies judgement, a vendor drawing that line itself is useful โ both as a buyer signal and as a compliance position.
Anonymisation is built in, not bolted on
Candidate CVs can be anonymised as part of the same conversion. For firms that submit blind to reduce bias or to protect a candidate's identity from a client, that removes a second manual step rather than adding a second tool.
Main trade-offs
Two current price pages, two different offers
The NL page shows a 100-candidate monthly minimum at EUR 170 with EUR 1.70 per additional candidate; the EN-GB page shows 50 at EUR 97.50 with EUR 1.95 per additional. Those are different commitments and different unit economics, and this page publishes both rather than picking the friendlier one.
It is one layer and a narrow one
Not an ATS, not a sourcing tool, not an evaluation system. The narrowness is the reason the return is easy to calculate, and it also means this is an addition to a stack rather than a consolidation of one.
Compliance is asserted, not audited
GDPR compliance is the vendor's statement, and a comparison page additionally lists the AI Act, CCPA and CalOPPA. Those are the vendor's own assertions about its product. Data residency, formal certifications and detailed retention policies were not established at all.
Pricing and buying reality
Usage-based monthly minimum; the two locale pages disagree
- NL pricing page: minimum 100 candidates a month at EUR 170/month, EUR 1.70 per additional candidate
- EN-GB pricing page: minimum 50 candidates a month at EUR 97.50/month, EUR 1.95 per additional candidate
- Both describe usage-based monthly billing, custom pricing on request, unlimited team members and full feature access
- These are different commitments, not two views of one offer โ confirm which applies to your locale before signing
- One hour of free onboarding is included; a free trial is described in the FAQ
What we do not know
- Which locale offer is the current default
- Contract term and notice period
- Data residency, formal certifications and retention policy
Checked on the vendor's pricing page, August 2026. NL pricing page (100-candidate minimum at EUR 170/month, EUR 1.70 per additional candidate)
How it fits your stack
Works with
- Greenhouse, JobAdder, MySolution, Salesforce and Seven20 as named integrations
- Any other system through API and webhooks
Likely replaces
- Manual retyping of candidate CVs into a house template
- A separate manual anonymisation step before blind submission
May overlap with
- CV formatting modules bundled inside an all-in-one agency ATS
Check before buying
- Which pricing offer applies to you, in writing, and at which per-candidate rate
- How often the output needs manual correction on your own worst CVs
- Where candidate documents are processed and stored, which is not published
CV-Transformer vs alternatives
Products a buyer would genuinely put next to this one, with the reason you would pick each instead.
Choose Sharebrand when the goal is presenting CV bundles, assessments and offer documents under your own brand, rather than converting the CV itself into a template.
Choose Candidately if candidate presentation is one part of a wider agency workspace problem and you would rather buy the workspace than a document layer for it.
Choose Textkernel when the real problem is parsing and structuring CV data rather than presenting it โ a different job that this product deliberately does not do.
