The short answer

Best for
A graduate or early-careers programme processing thousands of applicants a season, where a per-candidate meter would make the volume the enemy
Not ideal for
SMB teams buying assessments self-serve — the entry licence is £1,500 a month and the buying motion is a contract, not a card
Price
Licence from £1,500/month, paid monthly, quarterly or annually

Why these assessments
Recruitment fitStrong
Assessments, video interviewing, assessment centres, a candidate portal, process management and ATS integration are all hiring-specific, and the early-careers positioning is explicit rather than inferred.
Ease of useUnknown
SourcrLab has not used it. On an assessment platform the experience that decides the outcome is the candidate's, and that is not visible from a product page.
ImplementationFair
Setup and customer success are stated as included in the licence, which removes a common surprise line. It remains an assessment programme rather than a signup: rubrics, sifting logic and candidate communications all have to be designed before a season runs.
Price transparencyFair
The starting licence and what it includes are published, which is rare at this end of the market. What is not published is what moves a quote above the floor, and bespoke assessments, reports and advanced integrations are all quoted separately.
Value for moneyUnknown
Not assessed. £18,000 a year buys a great deal at ten thousand candidates and very little at two hundred, and the assessment catalogue's validation detail — the thing that would justify the price — was not established.
ScalabilityStrong
Unlimited candidates, admin users and roles inside the licence is the defining commercial property. A graduate campaign that doubles its applicant numbers does not double its bill, which is the opposite of how usage-metered assessment tools behave.

The SourcrLab bottom line

Tazio One is positioned as a candidate engagement platform for end-to-end assessment workflows, and the bundle is unusually complete: validated assessments, video interviewing, assessment-centre solutions, a candidate portal, process management, analytics and reporting, and ATS integration, with setup and customer success inside the licence. One caution about pricing evidence: an older public-sector pricing PDF shows pay-as-you-go candidate and test fees, but that document is dated 2024 and describes a different commercial model. It has been left out of the current pricing here rather than blended into it, because mixing a historical framework rate into a current licence price is how a buyer ends up arguing about a number nobody is offering.

Best fit

Volume assessment where the volume is the point. Graduate and early-careers campaigns run in seasons: thousands of applications arrive in weeks, every one gets the same structured process, and a per-candidate price turns a successful campaign into a budget problem. An unlimited licence removes that tension entirely, and that commercial shape is the strongest reason to look at Tazio.

Think twice if

£1,500 a month is a floor, not a price, and it puts this in a different buying motion from self-serve assessment tools. If your assessment need is a handful of tests a quarter, the flat licence works against you as hard as it works for a graduate scheme, and bespoke assessments, reports and advanced integrations are quoted on top.

Why choose Tazio?

Unlimited candidates removes the volume penalty

The licence includes unlimited candidates, admin users and roles. For a seasonal graduate campaign that is the difference between designing the process you want and designing the process you can afford, and it is genuinely unusual against usage-metered assessment products.

One licence instead of an assessment stack

The off-the-shelf assessment suite, video interviewing, assessment-centre tooling, the candidate portal and reporting are all included. A team currently running a psychometric vendor, a video interview product and a separate assessment-centre process is consolidating three contracts into one.

Setup and success are inside the price

Setup, customer success and reporting are stated as part of the licence rather than as an implementation line. In a category where a first-year implementation fee routinely rivals the subscription, that is a material difference in the first-year total.

Main trade-offs

The floor puts it out of SMB reach

£1,500 a month before anything bespoke is a fundamentally different purchase from a self-serve assessment subscription. If the assessment need does not justify £18,000 a year, the unlimited model is not generosity — it is a mismatch between the product and the problem.

An old public-sector price is not the current one

A 2024 public-sector pricing PDF shows pay-as-you-go candidate and test fees. It describes a different model at a different time, and treating it as current pricing would put a buyer and a vendor in a conversation about a commercial structure that is no longer on offer.

The assessment catalogue is not enumerated

The exact assessment catalogue, psychometric validation detail and named ATS integrations were not established. For a buyer whose selection process has to defend itself, the validation evidence behind each instrument is the material question and it needs asking directly.

Pricing and buying reality

Licence from £1,500/month

  • Licence starts at £1,500 per month
  • Payable monthly, quarterly or annually
  • Includes unlimited candidates, admin users and roles
  • Includes the full off-the-shelf assessment suite, video interviewing, ATS integration, setup, customer success and reporting
  • Bespoke assessments, reports and advanced integrations are custom quoted
  • An older public-sector pricing document dated 2024 shows pay-as-you-go candidate and test fees; it describes a historical model and is not current pricing

What we do not know

  • What moves a quote above the £1,500 floor
  • Cost of bespoke assessments, reports and advanced integrations
  • Minimum contract term

How it fits your stack

Works with

  • An existing ATS, plus HR and third-party scheduling systems
  • Graduate and early-careers campaign processes

Likely replaces

  • A separate psychometric vendor, video interview product and assessment-centre process

May overlap with

  • The assessment and interview modules of an enterprise ATS

Check before buying

  • The validation evidence behind each assessment you intend to use
  • Which ATS systems integrate, by name, and what the integration does
  • What sits outside the £1,500 floor for your specific process
