Founding Vendor roadmap
Where Founding Vendor is going
We're starting manually with five vendors so we can learn what buyers actually use before we automate anything.
This is a direction of travel, not a feature promise.
Now
Prove the profile works
This part is real and available now — it is what a Founding Vendor gets today.
- The first 5 accepted Founding Vendors
- You send your existing product material
- SourcrLab structures it into your product profile
- One handover, one review round to check it
- Factual corrections stay free, always
- The commercial relationship is disclosed
- SourcrLab's independent analysis stays separate
Next
Improve the format from real use
As the first cohort uses this, we expect to:
- Learn which product fields buyers actually use
- Refine the shared comparison structure
- Improve how evidence, sources and unknowns are shown
- Find a practical rhythm for keeping information current
- Reduce friction for vendors where the same pattern keeps coming back
We only systematise what proves useful.
Later
Systematise what works
Exploring — not committedPotential directions, contingent on what the first cohort actually shows us:
- Easier ways for vendors to update their information
- Some automation of routine maintenance
- Richer evidence for buyers to evaluate against
- Better ways to keep product information current
- Verified practitioner evidence — only if buyer demand and real contributions justify it
- Other tools that repeatedly prove useful to buyers and vendors
Payment buys participation, never preference.
Evidence can change our analysis. Money can't.
Payment never buys
- Ranking preference
- Recommendation preference
- Favourable conclusions
- Stronger provenance
- Higher evidence status
- Paid editorial outcomes
