Claimed — free

The Claimed badge

When a vendor confirms the factual product information on their SourcrLab profile, that profile is Claimed. If yours is, you are welcome to show this badge — on your own site, at your own discretion, at no cost.

Claimed profile on SourcrLab

It reads “Claimed on SourcrLab — Profile facts confirmed by vendor”, and that is the whole claim: the vendor checked the facts. It says nothing about how good the product is.

Meaning

What Claimed means

It means

  • The vendor has read the factual product information on their SourcrLab profile and confirmed it, or corrected it.
  • There is a named vendor contact for future factual corrections.
  • The facts on that profile — what the product does, how it is priced, what it integrates with — were checked with the company that builds it.

It does not mean

  • Not a rating, a score, a ranking position or a “top tool” marker.
  • Not an award, a recommendation or an endorsement by SourcrLab.
  • Not a statement that SourcrLab tested the product or verified that it works well.
  • Not a partnership, a commercial relationship, or a paid placement.
  • Not a promise that the profile is positive. A claimed profile can carry criticism, and does.

Independence

Claiming changes facts, never conclusions

A vendor can correct what a product does, what it costs and what it integrates with. A vendor cannot change how SourcrLab assesses it, where it appears in a comparison, which tool a guide recommends, or whether a criticism stays on the page.

Claiming is free and always will be. It is not a tier, it is not a step towards a paid product, and placing the badge buys nothing. A profile’s claimed status does not depend on whether the badge is ever used, and removing the badge does not remove the claim.

SourcrLab does not ask for a link in exchange for anything, and does not treat one as a reason to rank, feature or revisit a product. If you would rather not link at all, that is a complete and normal outcome.

How SourcrLab works

Assets

Download the badge

Two versions, one shape, 220 × 60 pixels. SVG is the primary file; the PNG is written at twice that size for screens that need it. Both are static files with no fonts to load and no script inside them.

Placement

Copy the HTML

A link around an image. Nothing else — no script, no iframe, no widget to keep up to date. Code is only produced for a profile that is actually claimed.

Paste the address of your own profile page. We check it against the claimed profiles before showing you any code.

Where to put it

  • Link the badge to your own profile page, not to the SourcrLab homepage. The claim is about that one profile.
  • A press page, an about page, a trust or security page, or a footer all work. It does not belong next to customer testimonials, where it reads as praise.
  • Keep the badge as it is: do not recolour it, restretch it, crop it, or add words to it.
  • Keep the link visible and normal. Do not hide it, and do not add tracking parameters or a redirect in front of it.
  • Do not pair the badge with wording like “rated by”, “verified by” or “trusted by”. “Profile claimed on SourcrLab” is accurate.

Not claimed yet?

Claim your profile first

The badge is for profiles that are already claimed — the ones showing “Claimed by vendor” on the profile itself. Claiming is one email: we check that you work at the company, then go through the facts with you.
